I'm surprised more people haven't seen this.

Is Gritz- My Life Be Like playing in the background?

I couldn't figure it out. Sounded too generic to me.

the only thing that surprised me about this video is that now I know that you can get a silverado in germany...

"Don't try this at home, kids!"
I'm guessing this is just as illegal in Germany as it is here in the USA, right? In the USA, he would have run into at least one cop about half-way through.

that's crazy
I feel like a silver corvette would stick out like a sore thumb in an area like this, can't imagine no one called the cops on this driver.

I don't get it - with unrestricted highways, why go full retard where people ride bikes and kids play?

So crazy. It's not like he's going up some back roads either, this seems like bombing through the middle of town at 120 mph.

Over here it's very rare to run into the cops. There are a lot of speed cameras in bigger towns and cities and some on the restricted portions of the autobahn but you won't find them in the little villages or on the back roads.

You certainly can...it's a PITA though. Most will buy from GIs that bring them over and convert them or pay $$$$ for a company to import it.

We can get everything, and there's no stupid penalty tax on cars with high displacement engines like in other European countries either. This video was shot right around the corner from this dealership: http://www.en.geigercars.de/

Au contraire! There are a lot of dealers who specialise in US cars: http://www.en.geigercars.de/chevrolet/silv…
BTW, the Corvette video was shot not far from this dealership.

What a coinkidink! I know this area quite well. This video was shot not far from this dealership that specialises in US cars: http://www.en.geigercars.de/
Test drive? Employee gone rogue? Happy new owner who is late for dinner?

That sounds absolutely wonderful. I know where I want to move...

Dude, when I move back to the States I'm going to be fucked. Here I am used to driving 60 on most roads (100-110 on the autobahn) and when I get back that will never be a possibility and I will definitely be racking up the tickets.

120 km/h

If you watch the WHOLE video, you will see he's breaking 200 kmh. 200 kmh = 120 mph. But thanks.

I saw the whole video. He goes over 200 km/h in backroads, not in towns. The highest I saw in town limits was 135 km/h, which is still criminal and irresponsible, as the speed limit is 50 km/h in town limits. I know 200 km/h = 120 mph. I am an American living in Germany.
